I have the privilege of knowing Liz Jones who is running for WI State Assembly District 29. During a time in my life when everything became so overbearing and hard to handle, I had the opportunity to share my frustrations with Liz. She became a mentor not only for me but also many others who find themselves in a situation they don't understand. I will be forever grateful for her support and words of strength. Liz is one of those people who will fight for what she believes in, no matter the status quo. She is a strong caring person who reaches out to all people including those who need and deserve compassion. She will do what needs to be done to strengthen our community and will fight for rights of all people. Liz is a strong willed person whom I am grateful for the opportunity to know and consider a true friend and advocate. She is driven with a power that amazes me and it is an honor to support and endorse her. Liz Jones has the voice and commitments-she is strong, confident and continually fights for what she believes in most--the people of our community.

Liz Jones exhibits character further developed under some extremely trying conditions. Her son’s terrible accident while he was in high school not only showed her caring for him during his recuperation but her guidance and long term support. She is a loving mother who overcame challenging circumstances.
Liz embodies the American Dream and is an example of overcoming adversity, pulling up her bootstraps and getting down to hard work. She will serve the people of western Wisconsin well. She has the intelligence, tenacity and character that will serve her well in public service.

My work with Healthy Communities and Recovery Network takes me to many related agencies, meetings, and workshops. Frequently I see Liz Jones there, as she follows her passion to improve life for the citizens of our community. I hear her speak for the poor and marginalized, and often I know that her time and energy is being given on a volunteer basis, growing out of her commitment to social justice. During the seven years that I have known her, I’ve learned that this advocacy grows out of her own life experience and the compassion of a loving heart. Liz is beautiful in body and spirit, and will fight for us when serving in the Assembly. I will work and pray for her successful campaign.

I have known Liz Jones for almost 15 years. During that time, she has amazed me with her energy and dedication to her passions. I have watched her pursue her education while raising her son and volunteering/mentoring others and working full time. During this time, she also was a caring friend and made time in her busy schedule to honor those relationships. Her commitment and dedication to the causes she believes in is truly remarkable.
