The highlight of the evening will be screening a short film, Ana's Playground. Ana’s Playground is an allegory about the moment when a child is forced to choose between ideology and humanity while living and playing in a dangerous war environment.” Production was made possible entirely through charitable donations. The film, written by Eric Howell, has won numerous awards.

The purpose of the day is to celebrate Women’s Equality Day, to raise awareness and to encourage women to become involved. Currently Wisconsin has only 22% female representation in the state legislature. We are ranked 31st in the nation. We need to work to have more women in elected office.
